At the Café at the Arboretum you can choose a little or a lot – just a snack or a ready-to-eat lunch to enjoy in the Village Centre or why not take it with you, and enjoy a picnic in the beautiful surrounds of the Arboretum.

Online orders are able to be placed for groups of 10 or larger. Takeaway orders only as seating cannot be guaranteed.
Due to visitation demand, ever-increasing costs, and ongoing skills shortages, The Ginger Group has decided to pivot our business model and expand our café and event offerings and operations at the National Arboretum, Canberra.
We have made the difficult decision to close our regular restaurant operations, Ginger at the Arboretum, for the foreseeable future. It has been an incredible journey for the past ten years overlooking all of Canberra from this beautiful location with tremendous support from our team and the community.
We look forward to continuing to host our key events, such as our seasonal Grower’s Series, key holiday activities, and providing our popular Christmas menus for larger group bookings.
